Privacy Policy

CON RADAR LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Con Radar mobile app. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use the app, and it is written to match what the app requests and collects on your device.

1. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, age, marital status, city, state and favorite heroes provided during registration via Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile photo from your Google account.
• User content: posts, text and photos you broadcast to the community feed, and photos you upload to your profile or to Hideout posts, stored via Firebase Storage and Firestore.
• Photos: the app requests access to your device's photo library so you can attach images to posts and your profile picture. Photos are only accessed when you choose to attach one; we do not scan your library.
• Location data: the app requests precise (GPS) and approximate location access to show nearby conventions and events and to power Hideout check-ins tied to a specific event. Location is used only while you are actively using these features; we do not track your location in the background.
• Technical data: device push-notification tokens (Firebase Cloud Messaging) used to send Mission Alerts, and crash and diagnostic data collected via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics.

2. How we use your data

• Manage your Hero account and sign you in (including via Google Sign-In).
• Enable community features such as likes, posts, Guilds and Hideout event check-ins.
• Show relevant nearby events based on your location.
• Send push notifications for events and state-based alerts.
• Diagnose crashes and analyze app performance and usage.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics) as our infrastructure provider. Firebase may process data on our behalf under Google's data processing terms.

4. Your rights

You can update your profile ("Hero Specs") at any time in the app, revoke location or photo permissions at any time in your device settings, or contact us to request deletion of your account and all associated data (posts, profile and stored images).

5. Children's privacy

Con Radar is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

6. Security

We use Firebase Security Rules and code obfuscation (R8/ProGuard) to protect your data from unauthorized access.
